The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...
The System and Arch are optional added filters, for example System could be "redhat", "redhat-7.2", "mandrake" or "gnome", Arch could be "i386" or "src", etc. depending on your system.
This module knows about CPAN modules. It can report whether a module is installed, can retrieve packages off CPAN that relate to a module, extract them into a directory for you, and even install modules and all their dependencies. There are existing tools which do this job, but they are very complicated and only deal with the current perl program. Haul can deal with an external perl program, and so is ideal for build systems, SDK building and automated CPAN testing. Throughout this module, we use module names (such as "Acme::Colour") instead of package names (such as "Acme-Colour"). Later releases may be more featureful.
